Football season is almost over. Only one more big game to go. Conference championships were pretty awesome and I’m hoping Super Bowl XLV is even better. You’re probably not planning to tailgate for the game, at least not outdoors where your trusty Chaheati is required equipment. And to those of you going to Dallas for the game, it’s going to be a chilly 45 degrees at kickoff – have you packed your Chaheati?
Whether you’re hosting a get together or heading to a friend’s, be sure you have all the ingredients for a FANtastic Super Bowl party – good friends, a whole lot of beer, great food and a really big TV (yes, size does matter). No matter which team you’re rooting for – Green Bay or Pittsburgh – you’ll be the party MVP with this super easy, spicy shrimp recipe. It’s great because the less time you spend in the kitchen, the more time you spend in front of the television cheering on your team (Go Packers! Go Steelers!), watching commercials and laughing with friends.
Here’s the recipe:
Chaheati “All-Season” Heated Shrimp
- In a plastic bag with a zip closure, combine a pound of peeled shrimp with olive oil, chopped garlic and a pinch of salt.
- Add a few shakes of Tobacco (the more you add, the spicier the shrimp). You can add some chili powder if you really want to bring some heat.
- Marinate 20 minutes, thread onto skewers then grill or broil.
I gotta feeling (woohoo), this is going to be the best Super Bowl ever. Whatever you’re doing, have a great time. And don’t forget about our FREE SHIPPING special offer, good through Super Bowl Sunday – that’s February 6, 2011 @midnight.
